CRL aims to provide state-of-the-art technologies to researchers at reduced effort and cost and aspires to provide a well-equipped and conducive laboratory environment that will improve productivity and quality of research. In addition to access to the various technologies, the core labs also offer laboratory space, workbenches, and workstations for a more conducive research environment for the research community. CRL also serves as training centers and provides sample analysis services for researchers within UM and other institutions.

The Q-ToF LC/MS System is a hybrid quadrupole/linear ion trap mass spectrometer. It is capable of performing high throughput and high-resolution tandem mass spectrometric analysis (trap scan MS/MS sensitivity and full MS3 capabilities) for the identification of protein and peptides.

Cell health is integral to the reproducibility and reliability of experimental results. CRL offers real-time PCR-based mycoplasma testing for researchers to assess the condition of their cells. Customers just need to prepare their cell pellet in a 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tube and submit it to our lab for further analysis.
